Reflect! Do not despise humble beginnings!!

Do not despise small beginnings.” Zechariah 4:10. I understand that this platform should not be self-promoting, so I will reduce the I’s here, but I stumbled upon my 1st music video on youtube. Thank You Jesus , OMG!

Wow, I am amazed at how far God has brought me! Let get back on topic!

Why should one reflect on their humble beginning? This is because it helps you remember and see your flaws, as well as your improvement.

In thinking for a change by John C Maxwell, he dedicated a chapter called reflective thinking. His quotes, ” Reflective thinking enables you to distance yourself from the intense emotions of particularly good or bad experiences and see them with fresh eyes”.

I grew from my experiences, and I believe you can; reflective thinking helps you see how to approach your mistakes, but this time with a different eye so that the next time you come to the task, you give an excellent touch to it.

Reflect on your life today; what didn’t you do well last year that you need to get better at in the years to come? What skills do you need to sharpen? I am honing my writing skills and speaking skills, and I don’t intend to stop anytime soon.

For goals that were set out? Do you need to re-look at them to ensure you hit your target? Endeavour to reflect and get the best out of life; your best days await you, pause and reflect!
